As its centenary project, Scotch will establish a new home for our Live Well Program bringing together the sports, PE, health, student support and pastoral care teams, the linkages between physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
The more we invest in our students’ wellbeing, confidence and resilience, the more prepared they will be to thrive and make an impact in a complex challenging world.
A strong scholarship program helps level the playing field for all prospective students. It enriches our learning environment, demonstrates our commitment to a more diverse community including rural, Indigenous and needs-based students.
We believe that investing in scholarships will give our students the opportunity to learn from each other across broader socio-economic, geographic and cultural boundaries. In this way, Scotchies are better prepared for an increasingly diverse society and workplace.
Inspired by our founders, who gave generously to take Scotch into its first 100 years, it is now our opportunity to affirm and renew their philanthropic vision through investing in Scotch’s second century. As did our forebears, we embrace the challenge and dare to join other great schools of the world and look to philanthropy to transform our educational programs and facilities.
Since 1919 Scotch has been educating the hearts and minds of young people. With a history of innovation and a broad educational offering, Scotch inspires confidence, builds character, and prepares Scotchies who dare to question, who can shape and determine their future, ride the waves of disruption and contribute positively to the future of our world.
At Scotch daring is what we do.
We believe that dare means something different to everyone.
As scotchies, we demonstrate it in many ways, shapes and sizes.
We are united by the common spirit of dare, celebrating our differences.
In 1919, our visionary founders dared to create a new kind of education as a memorial to the sons of Scotland who served with courage in the great war. As we grew, so did the belief that we are all capable of whatever we set our minds to.
Today, as we celebrate our centenary, we remain committed to that courageous spirit which set us on a path for greatness.
